Important Version Changes (Version 1.9.7)This has been a big week for MYSTC. Many changes have been added to version 1.9.7 which will be released on September 30, 2007 and, we want you to know what they are and how they work.
Training Module Released
Under Help, the new training module allows you to find specific training help that you might need. Included are screen shots with voice over which will walk you through the specific topics you need help with. Give it a try!! Net Revenue Report
Found under Reports the Net Revenue Report allows you to
enter your Average Fuel Mileage and Average fuel
price-per-gallon for both company drivers and owner
operators. This report will show the gross revenue for
the load, less settlement and allocated fuel for the
load and give you the Expected Non-Taxable Vehicle CapabilityUnder Setup/Data Management/Equipment Management you now have the ability to add a vehicle that will not transfer to Fuel Tax. This allows you to use and track a vehicle that does not qualify for fuel tax including Pickups and vehicles commonly used for Expedited freight. At the bottom of the Equipment Identification section when entering or editing a piece of equipment select yes for Non Tax Vehicle. Be sure to Submit before leaving.
Tractor Trailer Activity Report
See all the loads for tractors and Trailers for any date range here. The report is under Reports. Simply select Tractor or Trailer and enter the date range you want to see. As with all reports, this can be exported to Excel
Invoice Updates
We have added the Tractor and Trailer number to invoicing. This is listed under Customer ID on the upper right section on the invoice.
Drop Load Enhancement
When using the drop load feature under the Route Table at the bottom of the Dispatch Entry Page, if you select the Drop Load feature, here’s what happens. First tell us where you dropped the load. We suggest you include your terminal and any “drop lots” you may use as shipper/consignees so that you can selects them here. Tell us at what point in the load you dropped it. As an example let’s assume you have a 4 stop load and the original driver completed the pickup and the first 2 stops. Tell MYSTC that you dropped it on your yard after stop 2. We will add a new load showing the balance of the load from your lot to the last 2 stops. We will add the new load as the same load number, using the -2 feature. This Allows us to better track the load for you.
ComData Interface
The ability to track ComData fuel is now up and running. In Setup/Account Setup, select Yes to ComData under Fuel Interface. NOTE: We have to get you setup at ComData and in MYSTC for tbis to work. Please call us if you want to use this feature.
Added Features
A new report. After selecting Process, there is a new button at the bottom called “Printer Friendly”. This prints in a new format requested by many. Note: Selecting “Do not Show Load Revenue” Hides the rate charges a customer from the settlement sheet. “Do not show Load Rate” hides the rate driver pay was calculated on.
Under Construction
This section contains information that will be available in the near future. Excel InvoiceThis invoice will let you manually enter and invoice number. The transfer to QuickBooks will still transfer the MYSTC load numbers to help you reconcile when you receive payment. Container ManagementWe will track containers and notify you when they should be returned or picked up. Check Call EnhancementIf you have your drivers check in when they are not assigned to a load, this new update will allow this.
Current Assignment ReportEasily find the current load/loads your equipment and driver are assigned to.
On-the-Fly Equipment Entry
This will allow you to update equipment files from Dispatch as you enter the load. We can only catch the equipment number and type here but it will allow you to keep going without manually entering the data in Equipment Management first. Power Users
Setting Driver Pay Miles Calculation
Which Miles are used for Fuel Tax when you have Multiple Drivers?
We calculate the total Origin/Destination miles if you use this feature when you have two drivers on a load. This reflects the miles actually driven for Fuel Tax Purposes.
How can I know What Transferred to Quick Books?Under Reports, select Connector Activity report for the date you wish to view. This will show you a recap of everything transferred to Quick Books.
A True Success StoryOur In-house development has allowed us much more flexibility and allowed us to make these changes for you. We will continue to make changes to make MYSTC even better for our users and to respond to your comments and requests.
We owe you all our most sincere thanks. Without your help we wouldn’t be able to offer these enhancements.
